We're launching a new imprint!
Launching in July 2021, Form will publish books that help busy readers to cultivate spiritual rhythms and practices in everyday life.
We're delighted to be launching a new non-fiction imprint in Summer 2021, called Form.
Launching in July and headed by our Senior Commissioning Editor Elizabeth Neep, Form will publish books that help busy readers to cultivate spiritual rhythms and practices in everyday life.
Rooted in the Christian tradition and exploring biblical principles in an accessible way, each book on the Form list will be united by a down-to-earth style that shows that ‘spiritual formation’ is not just for hermits and mystics but for millennials and young professionals too.
The inaugural list will include Dancing at the Still Point – Retreat Practices for a Busy Life by spiritual director and lecturer Dr Gemma Simmonds, an accessible guide to DIY and at-home retreats that will help readers to make life-giving daily choices and find God in all things. Be Still – A Simple Guide to Quiet Times by Brian Heasley (24/7 Prayer, Thy Kingdom Come), an immensely practical book exploring rhythms of prayer and devotion that will help readers spend time with God. Seven Ways to Pray by award-winning author Amy Boucher-Pye, inviting readers to look to ancient practices to deepen and revive their prayer lives. And Yet – Finding Joy in Lament by Rachael Newham, founder of mental health charity ThinkTwice, which will explore the interplay between hope and lament in a way that speaks into our present reality.
In line with Form’s ethos to ‘make age-old wisdom accessible for a new generation’, this launch list will also include a number of revised and refreshed spiritual formation classics, including Frank C. Laubach’s Letters by a Modern Mystic, carrying a new foreword by bestselling author, Pete Greig and a special twentieth anniversary edition of Dallas Willard’s Renovation of the Heart featuring additional material from bestselling author John Mark Comer, which will be co-published by NavPress in the States in Autumn 2021.
