How to start your devotional journey
If you're looking for a new devotional or looking to start your devotional journey we've chosen three devotional books to help you to pause and reflect throughout the year ahead.
The new year ahead provides the perfect opportunity to start a devotional journey. Taking time out to sit and reflect can help bring calm and peace to our busy and hectic lives. We’ve chosen three devotional books to help keep us connected to God and our faith.
1. A Year with Andrew White
Andrew White shares a journey very much like the journey of our Lord Jesus, from pain and suffering to glory. He shares the reality of his own life, while praying that through his words God will speak to you about yours.
This devotional comprises 52 readings, each with a Scripture passage and prayer. Each reading contains a story, often startling and arresting, from Andrew’s astonishingly eventful and costly ministry, blended with his reflections on life and faith.
2. Q & A Bible Verse 5-Year Journal
This journal invites you to reflect on your spiritual journey over a period of five years.
Approachable and encouraging, it offers a brief Scripture reading and a question for each day. There are verses from every book of the Bible, and questions on topics such as praise, faith, prayer, worry, creation and forgiveness.
It’s available in a flower design and a blue design.
3. Hope Rising 365: Thoughts and Reflections for The Whole Year
This daily devotional brings together reflections from Meg Cannon and a whole host of women to cheer you on during the year ahead.
Hope Rising 365 offers encouragement and advice for whatever each day holds. It’s filled with personal stories, Bible wisdom and inspirational thoughts. This collection includes contributions from Naomi Aidoo, Jessie Faerber, Rachel Gardner, Ruth Jackson, Ali Martin and Rachael Newham.
