Weep with Those Who Weep - audio recording

The audio recording from the Weep With Those Who Weep event is now available.

The Church is facing a reckoning. The sexual abuse perpetrated by Ravi Zacharias, Jean Vanier and many unknown others has decimated women's lives. For too long, abusers have been protected by Christian institutions and the women and children they hurt have been disbelieved and ignored. The church is not alone; sexual abuse, domestic violence, street harassment and child abuse are prevalent across the UK.

Listen to the audio recording from the online conversation with Elaine Storkey, Natalie Collins, Genelle Aldred and Rob Merchant which asked the questions: Why are there abusers in the church? How can we support those who have been harmed? Why has Sarah Everard’s murder prompted such a powerful response? What can we do to bring about change?
